3. Website delivery and server logs
When the website is accessed, the web server processes technically required connection data, particularly IP address, date and time, requested file, transferred data volume, referrer, browser and operating system. Processing serves the secure and stable delivery of the website on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Hosting provider: F.O.D IT onDemand UG (haftungbeschränkt). Retention period: statutory deadline.
4. Contact form and callback request
When you use the contact form, we process salutation, name, company, email address, telephone number, preferred callback window, selected subject area and free-text message. The data is processed to handle your enquiry, contact you and, where applicable, take pre-contractual steps. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and, for general enquiries, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Recipients are the internal contact point at kontakt@fod-49.de and, where applicable, the hosting and email provider. Data is deleted once the enquiry has been completed and no statutory retention duties apply. Standard period: statutory deadline.
5. Customer login, account and two-factor authentication
The customer login processes user ID, password verification, two-factor code, session identifier, login time and security-relevant failed attempts. Passwords are not stored in plain text but verified using a modern password hash. The time-based one-time code is validated locally using the stored TOTP secret. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for the customer area and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for protection against unauthorised access. Logging and deletion periods must be defined before production use: statutory deadline.
6. Cookies and local storage technologies
The public area does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The protected customer area uses only technically necessary cookies: a session identifier for secure login and a cookie recording confirmation of the cookie notice. Without these cookies, the customer area cannot be used. Further details are set out in the Cookie Policy.
7. Recipients and transfers to third countries
Data is shared only where necessary for operation, communication or legal duties. In the current website version, no transfer outside the European Union or European Economic Area takes place unless the selected hosting or email provider performs such a transfer. This must be checked before publication.
8. Your rights
Subject to the legal requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is generally the authority of the German federal state in which the controller is established: Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information. Here you will find the most important contact information: • Address: Alt-Moabit 59-61, 10555 Berlin (Entrance: Alt-Moabit 60) • Telephone: +49 30 13889-0 • Email: mailbox@datenschutz-berlin.de.
10. Requirement to provide data
Mandatory contact details are required so that we can process your enquiry and arrange a callback. Without them, the enquiry cannot be handled.
11. Automated decisions
No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
